Meet Dr. donald kwon, orthodontist

Hi, I’m Dr. Donald Kwon. After completing my education at USC’s School of Dentistry and Orthodontics, I had the privilege of starting my orthodontic career alongside my father, Dr. Kwon. Those who know me would probably describe me as a happy and passionate person, especially when it comes to family, friends, and meeting new people. This is why orthodontics is more than just a job for me—it’s my true passion.

When I’m working with patients, it never feels like work. I genuinely enjoy what I do, and I’m dedicated to building trust and long-lasting relationships with each person who walks through my door. I find great joy in helping others gain confidence through a beautiful smile, and for many, this can be a life-changing experience.

A Little About Me

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in La Cañada. Although I’m a California native, I spent four years in Pennsylvania for my undergraduate studies. As a Korean American, I’m lucky to enjoy the best of both cultures—especially when it comes to food. I’m a big fan of simple, delicious meals, but my sweet tooth always wins out—cakes, cookies, chocolate, candy, ice cream…you name it, I love it!

Outside of the office, you’ll often find me at church, spending time with friends, or playing sports like soccer. Staying active helps me keep a healthy balance between work and leisure, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
