Meet Dr. Donald Kwon

Dr. Donald Kwon is a dedicated orthodontist with deep roots in Southern California. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the close-knit community of La Cañada, he grew up surrounded by the values of care and community. Dr. Kwon ventured to the East Coast to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned dual degrees in economics and computer science. While his time in Philadelphia broadened his horizons, his heart led him back to California, inspired to follow in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Joong Kwon Sr., a respected orthodontist.

For over a decade, Dr. Donald Kwon had the privilege of practicing alongside his father, serving patients at their iconic Koreatown office and their second location in his beloved hometown of La Cañada. His experience working as part of a father-son duo shaped his philosophy of blending innovation with a personal touch to create exceptional patient experiences.

Dr. Kwon now lives in La Cañada with his wife, three children, and their beloved dog. He appreciates his short commute to work, allowing him to remain closely connected to the community he cherishes. Outside the office, Dr. Kwon is passionate about staying active. Whether swimming, playing golf, or enjoying soccer games with childhood friends, he finds joy in movement and camaraderie.

A self-proclaimed foodie, Dr. Kwon balances his active lifestyle with a love for discovering delicious meals and sharing recommendations about his favorite restaurants. His kind nature and easy going personality ensure that every patient feels comfortable and cared for, making him not just a skilled orthodontist but also a trusted community member.
